Oversized Sweater for Winter

Sweater: American Eagle, similar here and here
Jeans: American Eagle ($32!)
Boots: Express, similar here ($39!)

My AMAZING and long weekend has come to an end and I can definitely say it was productive! I had 5 days off in a row and got most of my holiday shopping completed, found some great deals, did a little researching/writing, and learned more about blogging! I have been thinking about looking into blog consulting, as there seems to be so much information out there to learn. Has anyone had any success with this?

I did not go out for black friday shopping, but I definitely found some great deals while laying in my bed in my pajamas! I also think it's a great time to stock up on your own wardrobe during this time of the year because there are so many good deals out there. I purchased the softest oversized sweater at American Eagle a few days ago. I can't seem to find it online (bummer), but it is in the store right now and was on sale! I'm linking this and this similar oversized sweater. These jeans are also American Eagle and I LOVE them! I almost purchased these similar jeans, but was so glad I waited and found the one's I'm wearing for less than half the price! Lastly, my boots are Express and are SO comfortable. I JUST purchased them yesterday, but I also can't seem to find them online. I'm linking these similar (and affordable) ones that are currently on sale!

Arbonne Skincare

I wanted to share my skin care routine with you all! I have recently become an Arbonne Consultant and am LOVING it! Just to give you a little background on my skin because it has had a mind of it's own throughout my 20's! I actually had pretty good skin in high school and college with occasional breakouts, but nothing too serious. It wasn't until my mid 20's that I started to get cystic acne which has left significant scarring. I started to see a dermatologist about 5 years ago and have been prescribed two topical creams for the past 5 years. There would be periods of time that I would skip a few weeks to give my face a break (the creams made my skin SO dry!) and I would always have horrible breakouts when I took breaks.

A few months ago, a friend introduced me to Arbonne at a spa party and I thought I would give it a shot due to the botanically based ingredients. I actually stopped my topical creams to see how my skin would react and I haven't had any cystic acne so far. I still get occasional breakouts, but it has been SO much better! I became a consultant for multiple reasons: First, I get a discount on the product, Second, I get paid to host spa parties, Third, I have met some amazing people, and Fourth, it has been a supplemental income for us! I never thought I would do something like this, but I'm so glad I have!

Here is my routine:

I use this every morning and night and I will never use another cleanser ever again! It doesn't leave your skin feeling tight or dry and it's super smooth (I use it to take off all my makeup). One of my favorite products!

Step 2) Regenerating Toner (morning and night)

I also use this every morning and night. I SWEAR my pores have become smaller with this toner.

Step 3) Intensive Renewal Serum (morning and night)

They call this serum the vitamin cocktail. I use this as my next step at night, although most people use it morning and night. Helps to hold in moisture and lessen appearance of fine lines.

Step 5) Corrective Eye Creme (morning and night)

I will use this for the rest of time- morning and night! I'll do as much as possible to reduce these fine lines that came about at age 30!

Step 4) Night Repair Creme (night)

I love the way this cream makes my face feel. I definitely don't have dry skin with this product!

Step 5) Restorative Day Creme (morning)

This is my second favorite product! My face glows after I put this on and it's the only way I'll go out of the house without makeup.

We have so many other products that I love and will do future posts about. Take a look at my site and feel free to send me an email at mschell@kent.edu if you have any questions about the products or are interested in the business!

Wearing Hats in Colder Months

Shoes: similar here and here
Jeans: similar
Shirt: Karen Kane (similar here)

Happy Sunday everyone! It's snowing here in Ohio and starting to stick. I have to admit that I'm enjoying it, but I hope it doesn't indicate that we're going to have a bad winter! I'm starting to get in the holiday spirit. This will be my first year that I haven't been in school, so I'm so excited to have time for lots of shopping, decorating, family time, baking cookies, etc!

Find your tribe. Love them hard.

I just wanted to share a simple look with one of my favorite hats. I love wearing hats because they help make an outfit complete and they hide dirty hair! I live off of dry shampoo because I have a TON of hair and washing/drying/straightening takes almost 2 hours! Plus, my hair styles so much better with 2-3 day old hair. So, hats and dry shampoo are my best friends!

Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

I'm sharing some of my favorite pieces to put together a Thanksgiving outfit (but hurry because it's only a week away!). I'm going to talk about some of my most favorite from above:

First, let's talk about this necklace from Baublebar. One of my favorite bloggers, Cella Jane wears these statement necklaces and she looks awesome every time she wears it! It dresses up jeans and a t-shirt or oversized sweatshirt. Do you ever notice how some people just look "done up" all the time without much effort? Yep, she is one of them (she's gorgeous)! I love it with this sweater from Topshop and these white ripped jeans (yes, I love white in the winter and they are 40% off!).

One of my other favorite bloggers, The Sweetest Thing Blog, is always posting these Zella leggings (she raves about them and how comfortable they are!) and I had to share. I plan on ordering them ASAP because I live in leggings in the winter. I'm pairing it with this poncho (I like a longer shirt/jacket/poncho when I wear leggings and it's super on sale!). Love these over the knee boots with them (they have a sale going on until tomorrow for up to 40% off).

Happy Shopping!

Denim on Demin

Choker: GothicaPalace
Sunglasses: Quay (on sale!)
Jeans: LOFT
Denim Shirt: Similar here
Boots: A.N.A

A couple years back I wasn't sure how I felt about denim on denim and now I LOVE it! It's such a simple look that you can add a pop of color or design to and it looks super stylish! I love that it can be dressed up or dressed down. I added this adorable leopard clutch from RidgeDesignsNY and this beautiful lace choker from GothicaPalace (she has adorable chokers- check them out!). I love to support small businesses and these two Etsy shops are a couple of my favorites.
How is everyone's week going? I can't believe it's going to be Thanksgiving next week! We are SO busy on the holidays. We have four dinners to attend on Thanksgiving, so I am sure I will be in a turkey coma by 5pm. What's everybody's plan?

Thankful. Grateful. Blessed

*Thank you to Ridge Designs NY and Gothica Palace for collaboration with their Etsy stores*

Fall Dresses and A Little Graffiti

Happy Sunday everyone! Sundays are my lazy days where I lay around and do work on my computer, watch lifetime movies, and eat a lot of goodies! This weekend was absolutely beautiful here in Ohio and Joey and I had a fun and relaxing weekend. Last night we went to Pittsburgh for dinner (my favorite city ever) and our date night turned into shopping at Home Goods (my poor husband!). Does anyone else obsess over that store or is it just me?

I wanted to share some of my favorite fall H&M dresses for the upcoming holidays; similar to the one I'm wearing (from last year). I love H&M because it's affordable and good quality. I am LOVING this and this dress and here are a few of my other favorites:

These are the boots I'm wearing by Chinese Laundry and as I've mentioned before, I love them! So comfortable and they stay up above the knee! I'm sharing a few that would look great with the above dresses:

Marble iPhone Case and a Few Favorites

Earrings: Similar here
Vest: similar here and here
Lipstick: NARS

iPhone Case
Sharing some of my favorites today including this marble cell phone case that I adore. It's reasonably priced and super fast shipping! Check out their etsy store for more adorable cases.

Earrings:
I received these earrings from Zaful but unfortunately I can't find them on the website, so I am linking some similar ones here and here

Vest:
I am so glad that faux fur vests are still in style. I got this one from TJ Maxx a couple years ago, so I am linking these ones here and here.

Lipstick
I LOVE this dark purple color for Fall by NARS. It's really long lasting, but doesn't leave your lips super dry/matte.

I hope everyone's having a good weekend! We have been relaxing a little and spending some time with friends. I've been putting an extra effort to make time for relaxation lately, which is super challenging for me. I recently accepted my first faculty position (feeling blessed!) teaching in a graduate counseling program, while I maintain a full time position as a therapist. I will definitely need to make time for me and my hubby!

Wearing All Black

Top: White House Black Market, similar here
Pants: H&M ($35!)
Boots: Dolce Vita
Lip: Nars (Fanny)
Bracelets: Kinsley Armelle (use code mallory15off for 15% off!)

I can't help but sneak in an all black outfit here and there (okay maybe I do more than I like to admit), but there's something classy about all black! It was a beautiful day here in Ohio so I am taking advantage of wearing this off-the-shoulder top until it's too cold out. I've posted these faux leather pants before and I wear them at least once a week. I love these boots and plan to wear them all winter long, because they are so comfortable and I can wear them or walk in them for hours and they don't hurt my feet!

So, who's watching the game tonight!? My husband is a die hard everything Cleveland fan, so I'll be cheering on the Indians! GO TRIBE!
